Dragon Panoramic

i love dragons. i don't know when it started, but for almost as long as i can remember i've loved dragons (there was a quick bought of some unicorn lovin' but the dragons won out). for this piece i just really wanted to draw a dragon in flight. i used some of the figurines in my collection as reference for the open maw and the perspective of the wings at a head on viewing.

i really wanted to have fire coming out of his mouth, but the fire looked fake and was too overpowering. if anyone knows of a special effects tutorial, particularly in fire, i'd appreciate a heads up.

i used photoshop cs, a wacom tablet, and it took me about 14 hours.
