this is actually my second project for my perspective class. did i mention i'm now taking a couple of classes over at academy art university. so anyways our first project was isometric angles, which i apparently suck at. this previous week we were doing atmosphereic perspective. i would've enjoyed this more if it were done in my typical 2B-4H graphite pencils, so i could have the super nice lines and all, but we had to use a 6B graphite pencil for it all so my lines got so washy and sucky. still it's way better than my isometric piece.

anyways my idea behind this was just to have an airship "docking" in the mountains. the little villiage looked so much cooler but it still came out ok. sorry abput the scan i selected the web scan and it came out all crappy. the whole gradiation from behind the mountains is totally off ( i might scan with a higher dpi, but then again i might not, this will probably end up in my scapes heap).

besides the near heartattack i had while deciding how much my proff was gonna rip me a new one over the shooty quality and the pietiful gradiation quality, i kinda had fun doing this one. here's hoping i get better and better.
